AND NON EU VISITORS?
Visitors from outside the European Union – as event organisers, Expo Exhibitions Ltd is not in a position to extend “official” letters of invitation or to accept responsibility for visitors’ travel or accommodation requirements. We will gladly accept registrations for the conference or exhibitions from overseas visitors, but we are prohibited from giving any form of guarantee on behalf of attendees. We recommend that anybody visiting the event who requires a visa or other travel papers should contact the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs or the nearest Irish embassy or consular office in their country of residence.

INVITATION LETTERS TO SUPPORT VISA APPLICATIONS?
Expo Exhibitions does not support visa application nor do we provide invitation letters. The only documentation received from Expo Exhibitions is an email confirmation if using our online registration system and your exhibition badge which is sent out approx. 2 weeks prior to the exhibition. Visa enquiries are to be made Irish Department ofForeign Affairs or the nearest Irish embassy.

HOW DO I GET IMAGES INCLUDED IN MY CATALOGUE ENTRY FOR THE SHOW CATALOGUE?
Expo Exhibitions only provide the text for the catalogue publishers. To get any images or advertisements included in the catalogue you will need to get in touch with the catalogue publishers directly. The catalogue publisher for the Allianz Boat Show show is Afloat.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPACE ONLY AND SHELL SCHEME STANDS?
If you book a space only stand that is all you get ‘the space’. If you book a shell stand this will include the walls, a minimum of 2 spotlights, carpet and Fascia panels.

HOW MANY WALLS DO I GET WITH MY SHELL SCHEME?
The amount of walls you get depends on where your stand is located. All shell stands get a back wall and partition walls are only provided to sub-divide stands.

CAN I CHANGE THE WALLS?
Any walls required on any frontage must be arranged with your shell scheme contractor and will be charged for. If you want to change your walls you should contact WDisplay on +353 (0)1 4561001.

WHAT IS THE HEIGHT OF THE STAND?
Height – Floor to top of fascia 2.5m. Floor to underside of fascia 2.43m. Walling – Wall panels are 2.5m x 1m wide (nominal) painted white and framed with aluminium upright posts either side and 70mm rails top and bottom. (see section 2-3 of manual for more details)

HOW MANY SPOTLIGHTS DO I HAVE ON MY STAND?
Shell stands get 1 spotlight per 6 sqm with a minimum of 2.

CAN I PUT THINGS ON THE WALL, WAHT CAN I USE TO STICK THEM ON THE WALL WITH AND DO I HAVE TO TAKE THEM DOWN AFTERWARDS?
Displays can be attached by use of double side tape, Velcro or pads. No alterations to the shell scheme will be permitted without prior agreement with Woodcraft Displays. All exhibitor material should be removed from walls, fascia counters, lockable and unlockable storage areas as soon as possible after the show closes.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS REGARDING THE USE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS?
Do not paint, nail, screw or staple anything into the shell scheme system.

HOW MANY CAR PARK PASSES DO I RECEIVE?
Each exhibitor will receive 1 car park pass per 12 sqm.

IS THERE OVERNIGHT PARKING IN THE RDS?
There are designated areas for overnight parking. If you wish to leave a vehicle overnight please contact the organizers either before the exhibition on 01-2958181 or on arrival at the Exhibition Centre. The RDS have introduced a nominal charge for this service to cover the cost of the extra security. We would also remind exhibitors that the RDS do not allow any persons remain with their vehicles overnight.

CAN I GET MY PRODUCT DELIVERED DIRECTLY TO MY STAND?
Provided there are no fork lifts required you can get a delivery straight to your stand. For Health & Safety reasons your own forklifts can not be used and should you require one for a delivery ensure you have booked one with the organizers beforehand.

DO I HAVE TO BE AT THE VENUE TO RECEIVE A DELIVERY?
If you can not be at the venue during time of delivery your delivery can be sent to the organizers office where you can collect it on your arrival.

IF I AM NOT AT THE VENUE WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DELIVERY?
If you are not at the venue the organizers will take you delivery. You can then collect it in the organizers office on your return.

CAN I OR MY CONTRACTORS USE OUR OWN FORKLIFTS?/HOW DO I ORDER A FORKLIFT?
Exhibitors or their contractors cannot use their own forklifts. However forklifts can ge organised through the organiser and must be prepaid. Email Pauline.kennedy@expo-events.com or refer to Show website for a forklift order form.

WHAT IS RIGGING?
Rigging is used for hanging banners etc – used for signage
Exhibitors are prohibited from rigging any of their own signage within the Exhibition Centre without prior permission from the Organisers - Rigging Order form.
